Daniel Harding will conduct the London Symphony Orchestra in a performances of Schubert’s Eighth “Unfinished” Symphony and Act II of Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde. Matti Salminen takes the part of King Marke, Peter Seiffert sings Tristan and Katarina Dalayman sings the part of Isolde. The concert is at the Barbican Hall starting at 19.30
Pekka Kuusisto directs the Britten Sinfonia in a programme that includes Britten’s Serenade for tenor horn and strings (the tenor is Mark Padmore) and also works by Bartok, Tuur, Pärt and others.
