The Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held at Europe House, 32 Smith Square, London SW1 at 6.00pm. It will be followed by a talk to be given by the the Ambassador, H.E. Mr Pekka Huhtaniemi, on the subject of Finland in Europe followed by a Reception.

We will have a presentation on British Landscapes by Dr Jenny Lunn of the Royal Geographical Society. She works on the Discovering Britain project which is a series of geographically-themed walks which the RGS has devised with the Institute of British Geographers.

Professor Neil Kent will introduce his new book which will be published in October. The book is the first comprehensive social and cultural history of the Sámi people of the Nordic countries and north-western Russia.
